One more day. I was roaming around since I don't know how many days. Last time I saw a human face was in that camp in the Lone Lands, a camp with the Eglain people. Then, I packed and continued my return journey to Edoras. To do that, I heard what Demelor said about me watching a map of the road to follow in this whole area, but he said that since the map I saw was draw in Bree-town, he said it wasn't the best. That meant that I will just wonder around, using my survival skills until I find a town, or at least a settlement that will tell me that this is the correct path to follow to reach my objective.
I gave food and water to my horse and we both follow a road that I don't know if it is a legal road becouse it didn't seem. The first things we saw were those birds... crabans are called. They are very annoying in fact, and neither my horse nor I have the will nor the time (that is a lie, I have a lot of time) to deal with them. I also saw boars and those are meaty, that is good to eat. But I have to confess that the place is very dry and I was sweating, and to think in the sun that was shinning a lot, made me quit of the idea of a meaty boar for eating.
Finally I saw a stable and humans! I rushed to arrive to the place where I saw this humans, they take care of my horse meanwhile I explore the place. And just when I was leaving the stable, I felt that someone was staring at me. At least another human. He look like a man who had live many things, maybe that is just me doing some speculation, but that is the idea of him I have. He was dressed in a way that was kind of serious, but his clothes were dusty. Surely he is a traveler or such. His name is Belthandir and he claims to be from Gondor. I have this idea of a man from Gondor being very respectful and he was. In fact, I walked exploring the place. Was a settlement, you could see some houses and an inn or something. He talked at me and he invited me to dinner. I was starving!! I have hunt boars after all, but I haven't seen one since one day ago, so I was hungry.
I tried him not to notice that I was desperate wanting to eat and I pretended I had coin to pay for that, but of course I hadn't. I wanted to impress him. When the food finally arrived, I ate maybe with a little of enthusiasm, but I still think maybe he didn't notice that I even wanted to eat the spoon. Thinking more in that, I think he noticed!! I say that becouse I am remembering that in a time he laughed, I think yes, he noticed the way I ate.
After enjoying that very nice dinner (I had two bowls of stew), I kept pretending I had coin with me, I hope he wouldn't notice that. At the end of the night, after having all that food, he finally left, he didn't tell me, but he seem like he wanted to sleep. I also wanted to sleep, but I haven't the coin to spend the night in there, so, what I did is to wait for him to leave and after he did that, I also left to camp in the wilds, that way he won't notice I was there without enough coin to even buy me a mead. The good thing about that, is that I slept but before I could look at the stars in the sky and feel the smell of the herbs of the wilds.
