A man with beer stains, an old woman and a camp.

I have had headache the whole day.  I was alone with my thoughts inside that ugly inn in Lone-lands; thoughts of the friends I left in Bree, of my horse, the long way home I will follow, the dry place I was, gentle elves, and of course, the face of that ugly dwarf.  That face will hunt me for a while, I know. With all that in mind, suddenly I felt like I don't want to be in that inn anymore. Well, even the air in there feels like vicious, like if when each time you breathe it, you let inside your body some air that is not clean, that eventually will make you sick.  That is how I explain it.

So, I felt like it was better to sleep outside, in the wilds, in what I really know. But of course, I didn't want to stay in the area. That dwarvish face... I stand up from my bed, paid what I owed in the place, gave food and water to my horse, and together, we travel north from there. The landscape was dry and I could see some animals roaming around.  Finally, after exploring possible places in where I will feel comfortable to spend the night in, I saw this encampment.  "Surely the people in there where not foreigners but people from  the area", that was a valid thought I had.

I discovered that the people who live in the area are called The Eglain and they try to avoid attention by travelers. That was good news to me.  A place with enough people to camp (I prefer to camp with this people this time for security reasons) and they won't even care of your presence.  I begun to set up my bed roll, lit a fireplace, keep my arrows sharpened for a later hunt for food.  A lot of work to do it was.

Of course that I was very distracted doing what I needed, that I didn't notice that someone of The Eglain was looking at me. After a while, he decided to approach me. What I saw was a man with a clean aspect in this face, but when you look at his garments they are dusty. That is normal, the wilds will make your garments look like that. Mine looks like that in fact. But what caught my eye was that I saw in him what seem to be beer stains or another liquid stains but I pretended I didn't see that. He said his name is Demelor.

He was friendly and showed to me a smile. He even offered himself to help me to set up my bed roll and brought branches to light fire.  He did many things to help me, he said that all the help was due to an old saying they have, that is related to helping travelers or earn a curse instead.  While he was helping with all that, I went to hunt. Earlier I saw some boars that I bet where tasty, but all I ended up hunting was a fat coney.  Back at the camp, I shared my water with him, and also I shared the food.  Suddenly, while waiting for the food to be ready, we heard some noise and we look at each other not knowing what to expect.

The noise got stronger, and what we saw was a friendly face coming to us. Was Sadie.  The same Sadie who helped me with the dwarf incident. That shield-maiden from this elf I don't remember the name, but Sadie is not someone to mess with. even her hair is white in some places, and some wrinkles in her face are shown.

Everything seem to be very nice in there. A nice night with pleasant companions. But of course that not everything was great.  Suddenly, my stomach begun to hurt. Surely was the water of the stream Demelor told me that was not healthy, I didn't know that before and I drank from it. So, soon I had to go to my bedroll and Sadie and Demelor kept talking among them while I lied in the bedroll, and soon, I closed my eyes.
