As the Master of Lore, also known in Sindarin as "Hîr i Golodh" (Lord of Sages), for the Order of the Hand of Númenor, Thandanar Uilossen carries the arms of a white hourglass on a black and blue field.
The Master of Lore leads the Order's scholars in the pursuit of wisdom on in all forms of knowledge, documenting and preserving it to expand the Order's wider understanding. He also oversees the care and protection of relics in the Order's possession.
