An Urgent Letter to Lady Himwen

Greetings Lady Himwen,

There isn't much time so I'll get to the point as fast as I can. I am staying around Sarmëtecil for the time being, unless you have other orders for me.

I was approached by Elloen on my pause as he told me that we might have discovered a significant artifact. He is not wrong but I can explain it to you later since I do not believe that it's directly connected to the urgent problem we are having now.

He told that he would follow me to Elrond's library soon, to join me, Sarmëtecil, Saranassë and Celebrengon in examining this item. Elloen did not show up, but I took notice of his eagle behaving strangely before that. Alert, we went outside and were greeted with an arrow that made a scratch Celebrengon's shoulder but he got not other wounds – at least so he claimed but did manage to go to a healer later on his own, still standing.

A message was wrapped around the arrow shaft. It said that they have taken Elloen and Curulinn as their hostages, in exhange for Lady Manadhlaer. They have told the place where they wait for us, but it's best to discuss the location and what we should do, face to face where no one else can hear us and no messages can be intercepted.

We went into the Harp hall to discuss what just happened. Lady Saranassë promised to tell Manadhlaer about it. Other than that, we are yet unsure what to do…
