Man sí minna?

This is a Letter

Man sí minna? Man ammen toltha i dann hen Amarth? I anann darthant dam morn Si dannatha."

That which we sing, to outlanders in Lothlórien; in the words of Westron is transribed as follows.

"Who enters here? Who brings to us this token of fate? That which has stood so long against the Darkness will now fall."

This song has been sung, and it tells of our stand against the darkness. And the fate that comes to many who cross our borders, for there is a saying "Lothlórien does not bring doom to any; but others bring doom to it."

All that come to our lands are 'tokens of fate'; and against the Darkness that rises again in the East; we will surely fall.
