Till

Till Mornill belongs to the close community of Ost Forod, ancient meeting place of the folk of the Evendim Hills - lower-born descendants of the Kingdom of Arthedain, like the Men of Bree.

The community is still marked by lingering tensions between its upstanding members, making their traditional living from the resources of the wilds and the Forochel trade route; and a more lawless group, who threw in their lot with incoming bands of brigands and armed looters in service to Angmar. There is also some continuing mistrust towards the Rangers in their encampment at Tinnudir, despite the recent renewal of their alliance.

Till's mother, Rienne, is a respected healer in the small community, and Till spends much of her time gathering and preserving plants and other ingredients for use in her mother's practice. Rienne took more care to educate Till than most in their remote community, where knowledge is still as likely to be passed down by word of mouth as it is to be written; and Till inherited her mother's respect for both kinds of lore.

Till is also a member of the Ost Forod militia. She is valued mainly for her notable skill with thrown weapons, as well as her cool head for planning and tactics.
