Background
Son of the Tookbanks family patriarch, Adalmar Tookbanks, Adalbern Tookbanks has always had the biggest share of Tookishness in the family for many generations; even said in jest to rival that of Hadufuns Tookbanks, the legendary ancestor who was said to have gone with the other hobbit-archers for the Battle of Fornost.
A young Hobbit still in his late tweens, despite his adventurous streak is still very much in love with the Shire and the finer things in life. He is something of a noted scholar and historian in the region, despite his age.
Recently, he has come into posession of a large part of the family's mathom and library collections (the main house was becoming rather full and cluttered!) which he has used to start his own local Mathom Society and 'scholar's club' Bannockbury Hall Mathom Society.
