Chronicle Summary
Two Huntresses, separated by age and locations, find they still have much in common as they build a friendship in their new home. They discuss various matters from their respective pasts, and present.
Chronicle Content
Yrill of Eregion and Filignil of Himlad have a little in common on first observation. They are both respected huntresses, trackers, staunch enemies of the dark. Both tend to be solitary. But them both being at Numenstaya in the past year has seen matters alter. While Yrill has been part of the search for Danel, in lieu of Danel and Estarfin, Filignil has assumed the role of leader of the small community. Others there are also able, but she has, or seems to have, the background needed by all. Initially irked by this responsibility and need to be more sociable, she struggles to act as she knows is required, yet finds more support than expected.
Housekeeper, cook, animal keeper, herbalist, occasionally healer, Filignil is determined not to fail 'her' people.
But then she is now also responsible for the very young and opinionated Fearane...
