Background
The Ravenheart Dynasty was first founded by Helio Ravenheart, a burglar who had fallen on hard times and offered his son to work along side him while “Acquiring assets of wealth and distributing them equally”. On that fateful night, the Ravenheart’s, with the aid of some shady characters, broke into a lord’s manor and made off with expansive silverware.
Unfortunately, one of Helio’s associates had killed the lord’s daughter when she came down for a glass of water. Running as fast as they could, while jinglingly with silverware, Helio’s son hid the silver and waited for the guards to stop hunting for the murders.
It was this that so vexed Helio, the name ‘Murderer’. Overcome with guilt, that and an eyewitness had seen them running with the silver, Helio had left his associate to the guards while he comforted the fact that they had no proof what so ever that the Ravenhearts were involved.
Six generations later, The Ravenheart Dynasty has grown from being just a pity town gang to a full family business. Hiring thieves, bankers, traders and even the odd mercenary or two for dirty work, the Dynasty has already stayed a hair’s breath within the law. Working always in the grey area of lawfulness, they are very careful as they execute their ‘deals’. There have been times when the local guards have come sniffing at their doors, but generally fall short of proof to convict them.
Now the Ravenheart Dynasty is ruled by Rezgriz Ravenheart, with his son Methiston, the family’s logistics’ expert and banker, and his daughter Cinoth, the first ever female heir and furture ruler.
