Safeguard the North

"...Our days have darkened, and we have dwindled...Lonely men are we, Rangers of the wild...But when dark things come from the houseless hills, or creep from sunless woods, they fly from us. What roads would any dare to tread, what safety would there be in quiet lands, or in the homes of simple men at night, if the Dúnedain were asleep, or were all gone into the grave?..."

Our goal is to rally all of the Rangers and to focus their efforts on safeguarding the north, removing them from the prancing pony and other areas of idleness and placing them back where they belong...in the wild! Various Ranger activities shall be launched from Tinnudir Keep, or other places in the wild, such as: region patrolling, scouting, camping, striking enemy strongholds, skirmish groupings, visiting the ruins of Arnor-and other places of interest, Dúnedain ceremonies, and hunting-training etc.

Any and all who RP as one of the northern Dúnedain are welcome, although sadly our numbers cannot be too great for Lore reasons, strictly no other races or any others of different origins are allowed. Should you choose to create a character specific to this endevour then note he/she should be dark haired, grey or green eyed and have their RP origins as one of the Dúnedain of the north. A private channel has been set up to discuss ideas amongst us server-wide and a place to organise spontanious RP, we also organise monthly meetings IC and OOC-depending on availability to set up 'special' Ranger events. Though we shall be organised to a degree it is important to create the illusion we are a widely scattered folk, lone or duo Roleplaying is at the heart of what we do, for that was what the northern Ranger's lifestyle was all about, so it is heavily encouraged! This will not encroach or conflict with your free time enjoying the game or any duties you may have with your kinships if you do not wish it, its purely for fun!
