Diary entry, January 5

Dearest diary, sitting by the fire under a bundle of blankets I think back of a lovely day with a somewhat nasty end. Can't stop sneezing! Because Eoryn seems tired all the times, poor girl, I decided to go home a little earlier and suggested we should go out fishing. Miss Ethel was utterly bored and decided to join us, which is great for she's truely lovely company! Ethel brought us to her favorite spot at the stream, a little landing along the Greenway, not far from the Tenderlarch Farm. It was marvellous to see the little one having so much fun! Eoryn's fishing line caught something big, a big fish (underwater monster??) ultimately dragging Ethel off the landing! She washed away with the stream!! We had to hurry to get her out, but unfortunately, on my first try she dragged me in as well! Note: I have to learn how to swim one time! In the end we simply got stuck at a few stones in the river. This time of year it's pretty cold... I'm affraid I cought something, at least my runny nose tells me! Hope that nasty cough is gone tomorrow. I'll get back to you, but first a new log on the fire.
